Pablo Naranjo Agular

Born in the vibrant city of Bogota, Colombia, Pablo Agular moved to Paris with just a backpack at the age of 18. By 25, he was running his own restaurant in Paris after stints at Michelin-starred restaurants like Guy Savoy, Alain Senderens and Ze Kitchen Galerie.

In 2015, Pablo moved to Mumbai to work with his friend from Le Cordon Bleu and  India’s upcoming star and Macaron queen, Pooja Dhingra of Le 15 Patisserie. By then Le15 was a local name in the pastry world and Pablo was given the important task to open the first Le15 Cafe. 4 years later and as the Executive Chef of Le15 Cafe, Pablo won over the maximum city with a fun and globally inspired menu and fresh ingredients.

With a strong French influence in his style of cooking, Pablo blends and experiments with ingredients to create new flavours. The basic premise of his cooking comes from cultural explorations and a belief that local produce should be at the core of all cuisine. More recently, he has been traveling across North and East India and Southeast Asia cooking and learning with indigenous tribes.

Ever since his departure from Le15 Cafe April 2019, Pablo has been traveling across Asia learning more about the local communities and culture before he returns to Bogota. His YouTube channel, Eating Around with Pablo, chronicles this journey through gastronomical experiences.  Pablo also hosts Gourmet Goes Tribal on Nat Geo which was released on 9 December 2019 across 87 countries. Gourmet Goes Tribal is a travel show documenting Pablo’s travels across the Northeast of India through cooking with Indigenous tribes.
