Georgia Barnes is a professional cook, nutritionist and food educator. Embracing balance, beauty and the nurturing power of wholesome, fresh ingredients, Georgia’s menu and cooking style celebrates quality, seasonal produce with stunning, health-conscious dishes. Determined to improve the overall well-being of others through food, Georgia has a natural ability for connecting with everyday people with her warm and friendly persona and approachable presenting style. A true creative at heart, Georgia also captures her love of cooking through photography and food styling to share with her clients and loyal social media following.

Based on the Gold Coast, cooking and exploring the great outdoors have always been an integral part of Georgia’s life. Born and bred in the bayside suburbs of Brisbane, she spent quality time with her family fishing, gardening and learning about the holistic origin of real food. Heavily influenced by her grandmother, she adopted an appreciation for sustainable living, the environment and honest cooking.  This childhood fascination, combined with her zeal for helping others, inspired her to complete a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutrition, sparking her career as a nutritionist. Georgia has had every success since, expanding her profile in both the hospitality and entertainment industries.

Integrating her creativity with her down-to-earth approach to cooking from scratch, Georgia has been a contributor for Taste.com.au, developing simple recipes for the magazine, printed publications and website. She has been fortunate to partner with many reputable brands and organisations such as Pyrex, Clarins, Cobram Estate, IKEA, NAB, Westfield, Barilla, Robina Town Centre, VegePod, TK Maxx, Kaboodle Kitchens, Queen Vanilla and Endeavour College of Natural Health. Television viewers may have spotted Georgia will remember her as the Runner Up on Season 7 of Masterchef Australia, and as a regular guest on The Morning Show, Studio 10, Everyday Gourmet, My Market Kitchen or The Cook’s Pantry. She has travelled the country presenting onstage and running private interactive workshops, always with the intention of inspiring home cooks to become more confident and conscious in the kitchen!
